Marriage Purpose
Marriage is an institution ordained by God which signify the seal of a complete person. “It is not good for the man to be alone” (Gen.2:18) is a clear indication that there are certain things that are vital for both human experience and fulfilment that man could never had attained if a woman was not created. Hence, both of them have what the other need in order to experience or fulfil that need. (1Cor.11:11-12)
The trend now on the social media and the world at large from young people is that, they are more fulfilled in their singleness which is good, than being married which is now weird. Marriage is a good thing. People hardly enjoy marriages these days because singles are more concerned in weddings than keeping up with marriage. Hence the rate of divorce.
